Head of Delivery Management 

An experienced and highly practiced service delivery professional who thrives in enabling and delivering high quality outcomes for clients across a variety of industries, technologies and approaches. 

With oversight across all our engagements you will help shape and execute customer propositions that leverage the capabilities of our expert network and Value Framework to solve customer challenges.

With broad, practical experience in a variety of delivery approaches you are agnostic but opinionated, able to adapt, establish and coach technical delivery teams in the successful and continuous delivery of customer value. A bias for rapid iteration and feedback allows you succeed within large enterprise environments while maintaining a high standard of technical quality.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide delivery leadership, project oversight and support to eSynergy’s Service Delivery function and associate community 
  • Act as an exemplar of best practice through active engagement with our key projects and stakeholders 
  • Ensure consistent delivery expectations though shared knowledge and coaching to empower teams operating within agile framework and ceremonies; sprint planning, daily stand-ups demos and retrospectives  
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise
    contingency plans, reporting frequently to the project team 
  • Build relationships with internal and external teams to build consensus and deliver on their needs  
  • Contribute to the overall improvement of eSynergy’s approach to delivering tangible value for our clients 
  • Work with talent teams to coordinate project requirements and ensure the right capabilities and skills are identified and leveraged 
  • Contribute to internal IP – constantly sharing successes and learnings of projects with the wider community 
  • Engage early and often with Sales & Consulting teams to ensure proposals are effective and commercially successful 
  • Support our customers, ensuring your experience and expertise is available at key stages of delivery to meet our clients’ needs and build trusted partnerships 
  • Embody eSynergy’s values, mission and culture to drive successful delivery of customer solutions in a sustainable way 

Experience required 

  • Background in enterprise consulting and service delivery 
  • Broad understanding of the wide technical landscape with practical experience in aspects of cloud, data and software development 
  • Commercially astute, able to manage and execute large programmes of work  
  • Excellent communicator who can convey technical services and offerings in clear terms and speak directly to business stakeholders 
  • Honest, collaborative & strive for self-improvement
