New Day – RPA (Paul) Webinar

When considering the aims and objectives of a pilot success can mean different things to different organisations. A successful RPA pilot for NewDay meant creating a buzz about RPA, dispelling the myth around job security and creating engagement with the wider business to stock a healthy pipeline of delivery, which would deliver tangible benefits. Success depended on a number of factors, but the most important one was not as obvious as you might think. Choosing the right process to pilot RPA can have real consequences. This webinar is aimed at providing similar enterprises with an opportunity to hear NewDay’s growth story, discuss what critical success factors played a role in transforming RPA from a pilot and ultimately lay the foundations to take RPA from a pilot project to an ongoing efficiency product. Speaker bios: Paul Griffin, Director of Procurement, Cost and Operational Services at NewDay. Paul has been with NewDay for 4 years during which time as part of his responsibilities has taken ownership for implementing the RPA CoE in NewDay. This involved running a pilot to prove out the capability, developing the business case to invest and subsequently driving YoY P&L benefits from successful RPA enablement of key business process. Matt Harrington, Senior Automation Lead at NewDay. Matt moved into RPA in late 2017 as RPA Manager Matt supported the initial setup of RPA within NewDay and then played a lead role in building the RPA Centre of Excellence. Recently Matt has focused on deploying Intelligent Automation technologies into NewDay coupled with RPA. It was in this period Matt gained experience using Agile for software development and working in a Developer team (as a non-developer).
