PMO / Programme Management Officer - Agile

My client, a department of the UK Government, is looking for a PMO / Programme Management Officer - Agile to join their team. The PMO / Programme Management Officer - Agile will implement, manage and control governance processes for the technology programme.

Responsibilities will Include:

* Ensure that PMO documentation is maintained and updated regularly.
* Working with Delivery Managers and Product Owners to manage the RAID, Plan, ensuring key elements of workstream plans are accurately reflected for Senior Stakeholders.
* Maintaining the decision log, RFC and RFI logs and other trackers for audit purposes.
* Supporting in programme activities, as required to:

* manage the finances, purchase order and invoice payment process
* maintain the HR and Security function of the programme
* fulfil business case and benefits analysis,
* coordinate Exit Planning activities of incumbent IT supplier

* Programme board support:
* Provide planning, preparation and secretariat support to regular programme board meetings and adhoc meetings as necessary. Ensure agendas are accurate board papers are completed and submitted to the board in a timely fashion and minutes circulated on time.
* Support delivery according to PPM best practice and agile delivery methods.
